Q: i found out that i may have a disease in which my body makes to much testosterone. I also found out that i may have cysts on my ovaries. Both have a common side affect…infertility. A: 1st of all, I am double ur age, but ever since I was 17 I didn’t have a normal period. I found out that I have PCOS(polysystic ovarian syndrome) which is a lot of cysts on my ovaries, causing no period. I took birth control to get a period. You can have a surgery to help control the pcos, but it will come back. In Jan of this year my husband and I decided to try and have a baby. I only had 1 round of Clomid and I am 5 weeks preg now. So it can happen. Just take care of yourself now while you are young, don’t smoke, and watch ur body weight. The bigger u are, the more room for the cysts to grow on ur ovaries. Hope this helps.

I would get a second medical opinion of your sterility first, just in case there is actually a chance that she is pregnant by you – you’d hate to accuse her of sleeping around, only to find out that you actually are the father!If your sterility is confirmed, then obviously you have a lot of questions to ask of her.
