Do I have a urinary tract infection?
Q: I feel like I have to pee a lot. But (usually) barely anything comes out. It doesn’t burn or anything, it’s just annoying. Sometimes it will come out of nowhere and it will be hard to hold it. I am not pregnant, so could this be a UTI? Also, does being sexually active make it easy for women to get a UTI? If so, how can I prevent this?
A: YES HUN YOU HAVE A UTI THAT WAS THE SAME SYMPTOMS I HAVE WHEN GET THEM.AND HAVING SEX IS THE #1 CAUSE OF UTIS EVERYTIME YOU HAVE SEX YOU SHOULD WASH YOUR SELF AND OR PEE AFTER SEX.
anyone get pregnant while taking the pill?? antibiotics, seasonique & ortho novum users?
Q: So I was taking Seasonique which is one of those 3months at a time pills-meaning you only get your period every 3months. I took that for one pack which=3months, had a period then started the next pack but only got through 2months of it then decided to stop that one and get a new pill because I was just starting to feel depressed and awful. At the end of that 2months I also thought I had a urinary tract infection and was prescribed Cipro during the “period” week and was told it decreased effectiveness of b.c. for the rest of the month. My period was different but I chalked it up to the antibiotics. Well we weren’t careful anyway and I started my new pill Ortho Novum. I have 3 days of it left and have been sooo exhausted and nauseated for about the last 3wks. I sleep alot yet want more. I am nauseous and alcohol repulses me yet if I drink any at all I gag or feel really buzzed-which is unusual. And I keep getting really dizzy very easily. I’m a dancer and spins do make me dizzy after a bit….but this is like one spin and I want to throw up, not to mention it just comes and goes w/o movement. My husband even asked the other night what was wrong w/ my equilibrium. Could I possibly be pregnant?? I don’t even know if I could be or how far along I could possibly be but after reading alot online many women have not only gotten pregnant on the pill but also had a “period”……anyone’s experiences or advice would be great 🙂
A: I was taking Ortho Tricyclin (spelling) Low and just found out last wednesday that I am pregnant, but that does not mean that you are. I would take an at home pregnancy test and either way contact your doctor, so that if you are pregnant you can find out how far along and if you aren’t maybe change you form of birth control again because it sounds like Ortho Novum is not the pill for you. Good Luck!
Not a question,but a good TTC tip!!?
Q: Yes, drink lots of water while you are trying to conceive. This is important for so many reasons. Aside from the fact that water is just plain good for you – it is a terrific aid in getting pregnant among all the other benefits it bestows upon your body.Ads by Google#1 Law of a Perfect BodyHow I Lost 42 Pounds in 2 Months. Compare reliable retailers here.www.b2blocally.comFirst and foremost our bodies contain a lot of water, therefore it is necessary to replace the water used. Doctors say we should drink from 8 to 10 cups of water a day. This is just to maintain what your body needs. However, when you are trying to conceive and when you are pregnant – it’s so important to keep the water coming.First of all water is good for you whether or not your are trying to conceive or pregnant. Drinking 8 to 10 cups of water a day will help to clear your complexion. It will also help to keep your kidneys and bowels cleaned out. These are important for everybody. In addition to the above benefits, water will increase the chances of conception occurring. This is because drinking plenty of water will help in increase the amount and quality of the fertile-type cervical fluid. The fertile-type cervical fluid is extremely important in conception. It’s the cervical fluid that carries the sperm to the egg. The more you have of it, the better the chances. Drinking plenty of water acts much the same way that taking guaifenesin does. Guaifenesin is an over-the-counter medicine that helps to loosen mucus. Guaifenesin is sometimes taken by women who are trying to conceive in order to help their cervical fluid to be thinner and more abundant.Another good reason to drink a lot of water while trying to conceive is because of its benefits to pregnancy. Since you would not know you were pregnant for about 2 weeks, it’s a good idea to already be in the habit of guzzling water. The benefits of drinking water while pregnant are:•It helps to prevent bladder and urinary tract infections – which are more common to occur during pregnancy.•It helps to prevent hemorrhoids – which almost always occur at some point in the pregnancy and especially during the delivery.•It prevents dehydration. Dehydration is one of the leading causes of preterm labor. This is because dehydration causes contractions which leads to true labor. With this in mind, plan on consuming 8 to 10 cups of water a day in preparation for pregnancy and for your own good health. If you are not used to drinking a lot of water – you will notice that it will cause you to make many bathroom trips. As your body gets used to the water the trips will be lessened somewhat. However, in preparing for pregnancy – you may as well get used to the many bathroom trips – it’s a major side effect of pregnancy!
