Q: is there any way to tell if you are pregnant by seeing if yur uterus is larger? how would you do it yourself. i know this sounds stupid a friendof mine wanted me to ask she doesnt have yahoo. what she asked me is is her tests are comihng out faint and the first time she was pregnant they checked her uterus..she wants to know what is the different in feeling from a normal uterus and a pregnant uterus.. does it bulge out when she checks like if she was to masterbatei said like masterbating..not itself but she wanted to know how could she tell the difference if she checked her uterus by inserting a finger and checking her uterus
A: The uterus gradually starts increasing in size as pregnancy advances. However, it is difficult even for an experienced Gynaecologist, to definitely confirm pregnancy only by uterine size before 6 weeks from the last period. It is only after 3 months that the uterus can be felt on abdominal examination. Before that, an internal check-up is necessary. The cervix and uterus feel soft, but leave that to the experts.
Most of the time I am not happy about being pregnant, I feel lost.?
Q: I know I am due June 2 ’08. I can’t tell you how many weeks I am. I don’t feel anything like I did with my other 2 children. My uterus dropped some last week and now I am in constant pain. The DR said when I am further along they can put a plastic pedistal in me to hold it up, but for now I am too early to do anything. I don’t see how we are going to be able to afford this child. Those were all concerns will my other ones and it all worked out, and I was happy with those pregnancies. I told my husband I am not happy. I just don’t know what is wrong with me. My kids are excited. My husband is excited. I haven’t even told my job and I wear big clothes and a jacket all the time to cover my belly. I dont feel like talking about the baby so I dont want to tell them, cause then they will start asking me questions. This can’t be normal. I am soo stressed out right now. But still every problem I have now is almost the same as when I had the others, so why do I feel so different.
A: Well since each pregnancy is different, you’re just dealing with the hormones a little differently this time. Also, the thought of not being able to afford this child does not help at all. Money( and the lack of) makes people go crazy. I wouldn’t worry so much. It sounds like you’ve got a great support system. Your family loves you and this upcoming baby very, very much. Don’t worry about what other people will think. You will come around when the time is right for you. =) Just don’t worry about anything or anyone else right now.
