A: It’s Braxton Hicks…the contraction presses on your bladder and makes it feel full whether it is or not. It’s not the bladder causing the contraction…it’s the contraction squeezing the bladder.BTW – we’re both due the same day. Congrats!

My dog that may be pregnant keeps getting on me licking me hard and nipping like I am a puppy is this normal?

Q: My dog that may be pregnant keeps getting on me licking me alot real hard and even nipping when she licks me…and pants real hard when she does this…is this normal or maybe a sign of false pregnancy..she also did this like week or two ago then tonight. Like I said before her temp. was 99.1 to 99.5 this morning and now it is 100.7 . I will get vet consultation tommorrow but I am just worried and would like more opinions on this…and if anyone has a shihtzu that has had pups ..when she is on all fours she does not even feel pregnant or show..but when you sit her up on her behind and feel down her tummy it feels like she is pregnant..could this just be organs that I am feeling??? HELP any info appreciated…and I do care for my dog…she is my furbaby…I let her mate with my shihzu male hoping for some great pups like she is. 🙂 She was in heat around April 15-19 that is when they tied once anyway.

Doctor said it could be hard to get pregnant and to wait due to a cyst?

Q: I just went to my doctor today because my husband and I are TTC and we found out that I have a cyst on my ovary that is quite large. My doctor said that she would like me to wait for a month to see if it pops or shrinks? Is this normal and will this really affect my getting pregnant?

A: I had a 10mm cyst on ovary. it took 2 months to shrink i had to take BCP’s to help. I m/c right before they found the cyst that is why I got an US. I do not think it makes it harder to get pregnant. sometimes cysts form after a pregnancy.
