Yes being that tired is very normal in early pregnancy and it should pass sometime in the second trimester but it also comes back in the third. So being tired is going to be pretty common for a while. Good luck and congratulations on your p…

Perfectly and absolutely normal at that stage. Pamper yourself — take naps whenever you can and indulge those cravings if they’re reasonably healthy.

Im 31 weeks pregnant, is it normal to be getting really tired & being really hot all the time?
Q: I’ve been have alot of trouble with sleeping during my whole pregnancy. I basically can’t sleep when i want too, I toss & turn.. i don’t even know how many blankets and pillows i use anymore for my body lol. Anyway, here recently, (for example) I stayed up all the way until 10am in the morning, went to bed, woke up at 5:30pm, then turned around & went back to bed around 11 that night. Now im up, and ready to go back to bed again. I just recently got diagnosed for anemia, and i have a thyroid disease, which was the reason for my severe fatigue earlier in pregnancy, since i’ve been taking my meds ive been slowly getting energy back, then all the sudden i feel tired. Basically, during your third trimester is it normal to get this tired?Anyone else have these problems? Also, IM ALWAYS HOT. thats VERY unusual for me. I am ALWAYS cold. My fiance is like.. are you sick? because he knows how i am, i wear sweaters in the summer. & the other night my fiance came out in the living room and i had the fan going on high, and the screen door wide open, and its winter weather outside.
A: I would suggest you ask your doctor about taking benadryl to help you sleep. My OB said that it is completely harmless, and he’d rather have me getting a good night sleep, because the baby needs your body to be rested. Again, ask your doctor first, but Benadryl has been a life saver for me!
Is cramping normal when your 6 weeks pregnant?
Q: I’ve been having a little cramping (no blood) for a couple of weeks on and off. It usually doesn’t last longer than a couple of mins but I noticed today it was most likely because i have been a little constipated. I was told I couldn’t drink fruit juice because I have insulin resistance and it could cause my blood sugar to go up too high. So on top of the question.. is cramping normal in early pregnancy.. also.. what else is alright to drink besides water and some sprite? I’m getting a little tired of water (but I drink about 5-6 bottles a day of 16-20 oz). I do eat well (my craving would be salad if that tells you anything). I also have plenty of protein also so i don’t think its my diet either. I think thats about as much info as I can think of right now!
A: Cramping is totally normal and caused by the fact that your uterus in expanding. My sister in law had severe cramping and it turned out to be twins and the uterus was growing twice as fast as normal. You just notice every twinge b/c you know you are pregnant and you worry that something will go wrong. As long as you are not having bright red bleeding you should be fine.
I get tired of people saying “you don’t look pregnant” when I am 18 weeks with first child?
Q: I am a naturally very slim person, my stomach before pregnancy was super flat concave even. My stomach when I’m unclothed is bigger now even my bf notices. But everyone else, the people I happen to tell, that I’m 18 weeks pregnant, all say “wow you don’t even look pregnant” my friend and her grandma said this, but her mother said she could tell that my skin had a “glow” and was fuller and fatter than it used to be in a good way (I had a very narrow face before). Is this normal first of all? I am 18 weeks pregnant and have only gained about 7 lbs completely and before I got pregnant I was already underweight: 98 pounds at 5’2. Now I weigh about 105. My last appointment was 3 weeks ago and I weighed 102.7 and so i have gained about 2 and a half pounds since then in the past 3 weeks. But in the past 18 weeks since Ive been pregnant I’ve only gained 5 lbs. Is this normal? The doctor says the baby is healthy. I don’t have the big ultrasound in radiology til next Friday where they determineif the baby has all his/her vital organs working properly, all things are in place, etc.
A: Wait 2 weeks or so. That’s when most people start showing the first time around. Don’t let people bother you. You are normal, sweetie.Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, people absolutely refuse to believe I’m only 14 weeks along because my stomach is huge and it happened all of a sudden. This is my second pregnancy and my first baby is only 18 months, so that’s why. I have actually lost weight this pregnancy. My doctor is fine with that, since I was a bit overweight to begin with.
