What should my friend do about her babies (twins) father?

Q: Ok so I just wanted to ask some advice for my friend… This is going to be long, and I will say I’m sorry in advance!So she started dating this guy that was going through a separation with his wife (she also knew the wife) and got pregnant with twins…2 months after the twins were born he broke up with her and went back to his wife and 6 year old daughter. Now the twins are 8 months old, and there is no custody arrangement because it is kind of costly and she cant afford to pay for it…but she did take him for child support. Pretty much they have come to an agreement of him taking the twins every other weekend (it isn’t written or anything). This week on tuesday he asked if he could take the twins from wednesday until friday morning. She said ok and he took them on wednesday, so she made plans for thursday night (since she doesn’t get to go out often and she had the day off from work). He ended up calling her thursday afternoon and said that he was bringing the babies to her house in 5 mins. and she said “no, because I made plans” and he ended up telling her that he was dropping them off anyways and if she wasn’t there that he would call the police and say that she abandoned the babies, and that she was a bad mom. So she cancelled her plans and stayed home. They got into a big fight when he brought her the babies, and after he got back home his wife called her and started taunting her saying that they were going to get full custody of her babies and that she was a bad mom. Then she (the wife) hung up..and ended up calling back and saying that she (my friend) was a fat whore and calling her mean nasty names. After they hung up the father called back and also started taunting her saying that he would get custody of the babies etc etc etc. Also, anytime the father and my friend are on the phone, the wife frequently is heard saying mean things in the background, and sometimes takes the phone from him.I kind of have 2 questions: Can anyone give me some advice as to what she could do about the father of the babies (him threatening her with custody and things)?AND Is there any way she could get some kind of order against the wife…like ordering her to stay out of their buisness and leave the mother alone?Anything anyone can tell me would be awesome…I just really want to help my friend out…this really really upsets her a lot. Please don’t send me rude remarks, as this is VERY important to me (I love those babies like they were my own, and I want what is best for them also!)

A: Until a court order is made, the father can legally pick up the twins and drop them off as he pleases without any legal repercussions. (It was very sad that he did that to her, but he would not have gotten away with that crap. She could just tell the truth and nothing would have happened to the twins or her.) She has to go to court in order to give the twins the routine they need with their father. Since child support is already established, she will need to go to family court and she can represent herself if she needs to. She can also look into legal aid. It can also be mandated during the court proceedings that he and his wife pay for the custody proceedings (or for most of it) because it was their actions that made it a need for legal protections. Unfortunately there is nothing she can do to keep the wife out of her twins life unless the father were to break up with her again. Like another poster said, document/record the conversations going on and the situations she encounters when it comes to the father and the children. It will help the case. Good luck.

Q: I had my IUD out June 23rd because it was causing infections and cramping. My mid-wife wanted it out because she said with having the infections, the Mirena can make it worse to get rid of them. So when she took it out my infections should go away. But when she did it, she said that i was very highly fertile. My husband wanted to do something on the 26th but we didn’t use protection and every other day from then on til today we have used condoms but only when he was soon to ejaculate. And sometimes we used the pull out method. I have two lil ones already (3 n 1) and for the past two weeks, i have been feeling weird like i could be pregnant. But i don’t know yet cuz all the test that i have taken were neg. so far. Twins run his family very high. I have had symthoms like i could be. But im not sure that i am. I have been doing better with my infections. I haven’t had a problem with them. Im wondering if i am pregnant. They say u have symthoms sooner and more if ur having twins. I have apendulumm and it says everyday that i am pregnant and that i am having 2 twin boys. But i am so clueless onwitt to believe and what to do. I wanna know so bad right now if i am.
