A: As with anything, these herbs need to be used with caution, but I would think they would only cause problems when used in excess. I ate many of these herbs but obviously not as a main course, more of a seasoning. To cause any damage you would have to use a lot!! I actually have her book and I think it is a really good resource but shouldn’t be taken totally to heart. After all, you’re only basing information off of one source. Look at other sources before deciding.I used ginger all through out my pregnancy for heartburn and nausea and I have a happy healthy 4 week old! She even says to use ginger for those purpoises so I’m not sure what the website is referring to.
