A: Check out their fasicnation with big heads. All the artwork they left behind of heads, usually helmeted. Just the fact that they seem to be the first civilization that rose in the Americas makes them interesting. And you could also look at the fact that they used rubber balls to play games with, and that this was one of their legacies to the civilizations that followed.

Who is more overrated: Peter Forsberg or Pavel datsyuk.?
Q: Who is more overrated between the two? I think Datsyuk is slightly more overrated, his defensive game is really overrated, since when does take aways equal good defense? how he got a hart nomination just boggles me, he has the best defenseman over the last 5 years passing him the puck, 2 other 50 point defenseman to rush him the puck so its not like he’s ever really spending that much time in his own zone, he has a 40 goal scorer in Zetterberg and a 34 goal scorer in Franzen to work with on the NHL’s number 1 powerplay, The Hart is for someone who carries his team, as in if that player goes down, his team takes a huge blow, wow how will Detroit ever go on if Pavel goes down,….. Zetterberg, Franzen, Lidstrom, Rafalski, Cleary, Kronvall, Lilja, Ericsson can’t do it all by them selves, detroit would finish dead last oh my.Detroit was the first team in over 15 years to have 3 defensman with 50 or more points, datsyuk spent little to no time actually defending, generally his take-aways (overrated stat imo) happen right around the opposition blueline…yet media and sports analysts will have you believe and make it sound like he took the puck away from a defender deep in detroits own zone, carried it end to end and carried a bunch of 4th liners or something.”I KNOW BUT WHAT ABOUT DA DANGLEZ? THE MOTHAFACKIN DANGLEZ BRAH? DA DANGLEZ-ITIS”Spare me, he makes those moves in the shootout, he wouldn’t dare have the balls to try that against Pronger, Chara, Komisarek, Regher or Weber.Steve Mason would’ve been a much better choice for a hart nominee over datsyuk easily, he carried that team into Columbus’s very first playoff series, lead the NHL in Shutouts, won the Calder as rookie of the year and next to Rick Nash, he was definately more important to his team than Datsyuk ever was.FunFact: Joe “choke artist” Thornton has a higher playoff points per game than Pavel “defense” Datsyuk, don’t believe me?Thornton 0.69ppg playoffsDatsyuk 0.67ppg playoffsDatsyuk is just plain and simply a run of the mill choke artist when it comes to the playoffs a time when real hockey starts, a time when the pace of the game rises, more hitting, more defensive play and Datsyuk falls like a cheap tree fort when it comes crunch time in the post-season.There is this stupid myth that datsyuk is considered the 4th best player in the world right after the big 3, maybe, MAYBE… the regular season, and that is a big maybe, but come playoffs? there is, and I’m not biased, atleast 15 hockey player’s I’d gladly take over this overrated playoff no-show, specifically for the playoffs, Crosby, Getzlaf, M. Richards, iginla, Zetterberg, Perry, Morrow, Lecavalier, St. Louis, Staal, B. Richards, Savard (ppg playoff), Parise, Franzen, Toews, Malkin, Ovechkin.WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TO MUCH PRAISE FOR A GUY WITH A CAREER HIGH OF 32 GOALS AND IS ALREADY 30 YEARS OLD AND IS NOT GETTING ANY BETTER THATS FOR SURE.Russians/RedWings “But, But…h..h..his defensive game more than makes up for it””he was injured” hint: everyones injured in the playoffs, Crosby has been playing with a bum ankle and groin for almsot 3 years now.and My favorite:” He’s not scoring as much in the playoffs because he’s focusing on defense and hitting, he’s actually quite the hitter”Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggggghhhhhhhtttttttttuhhhhhhhhh!…gotcha.Don’t even get me started on Peter Forsberg, some ppl talk like this guy is on the Gretzky/Lemieux level or something, and the ay they alk about his physical game, you’d think there describing Zdeno Chara or Anderson Silva on skates.Forsberg, a guy who only broke the 30 goal barrier twice in his career, had the groin of a 50 year old year old woman, was more injury prone than Marian gaborik. A guy that has a career total goals of 249 goals, and 885 points and yet is talked about like he’s in Lemieux/gretzky, Bossy, Howe’s league because of what could’ve been had he not been injured, yeah well Mike Bossy would’ve scored 1200 goals had he not retired, Forsberg would’ve scored 120 assists in 08 had he played the whole season just look at those 9 games or maybe if Aaron Voros had played consistently all year for the Rangers the guy could’ve kept up his 10 goals in 15 games pace he started out with.Sarcasm aside, he was a very underwhelming goal scorer, good playmaker but not even close to the vision of Gretzky/Lemieux, a glass groin, a physical game that would have you believe he could run over bob probert or Ray Bourque or Mark Messier like nothing.Part of being considered one of the greatest forwards is being a good goal scorer, playmaker, staying healthy. and if you plan on being injured you better have mind boggling stats like Mario Lemieux in your limited games, something like 90 assists, 50 goals in 60 games or so, which Forsberg did not have. Its not like Forsbegr played with bad teammates either, Sakic, who in my mind is better than Forsberg as most I would assume wouldif you dont wanna read all of that, fine but i think I make a few good points, Who would’ve thought 2 30 goal scorers on powerhouse teams could get so much hype right?I k exactly what Iam talking about, you and me both know he ‘s a choke artist in the playoffs, and you and me both know Detroit wouldn’t sufer one bit if he went down for 60 games with an injury, quit being so blind and actually think outside the box for just a second and you’ll soon realise Datsyuk is quite overrated you foolsthe guy who has lead the playoffs in scoring last year and goal scoring and game winning goals this year, the youngest player in the history of the National Hockey League to reach both 100 and 200 career points and the very first teenager to win a scoring title in any major professional north american sports league at the age of 19 is not overrated you jealous american who only has Parick Kane and Bobby Ryan to look forward to.
A: I read your initial question, but the rest was TL;DR. It matters not, Forsberg is the overrated player. I’m a diehard Flyers fan, so I’m allowed to form such opinions.
