Q: bone and it’s been going on for a week now it hasn’t really been bad just more uncomfortable but yesterday it started getting more painful and today it’s worse, kind of lasting all day and occasionally it’s more like a sharp pain, I also feel more fatigued and kind of nauseous and slightly light headed. Again it’s not unbearable but it is very uncomfortable and feels like its getting worse. It’s not contipation and I dont think I’ve done anything to cause muscle strain.Any idea on what it may be?
A: I wasn’t going to respond to this until I read all of the incredibly ignorant and fear-driven responses to your question. First of all, you DON’T need to worry about appendicitis. The appendix is located in the bottom right corner of the very lower abdomen, not too far from the pubic bone.Pain in that part of your body could be any number of things. On that side of your body, in that particular area, are your liver, gall bladder, and a part of your large intestine. The fact that you’re experiencing nausea seems to suggest that a part of your digestive system (i.e., your gall bladder or large intestine) may be involved. I would certainly recommend that you go get this checked out as soon as possible. But you don’t need to panic about it either, like so many people are recommending. Even if something is wrong with your gall bladder, I’ve never EVER heard of gall stones killing anyone. In short, don’t panic, but do go to the doctor soon. You’ll probably find out that whatever is going on is not nearly as serious as everyone here would like you to believe.
I have pain in my right side, just under bottom rib, any ideas what it could be?
Q: Hey….im 18 and not overweight or anythin like tht.I have been getting pain underneath my bottom rib on the right side goin round to a bit of my back.It only hurts to touch or when i move the top half of body, and no pain when i breath.Any ideas what it could be?thanks x
A: Could be gas because it sometimes gets trapped having no place to go. I’ve had pain like this before for almost a week and then finally felt better. I hope you feel better and not having to wait a whole week like I did. But if it becomes painful at all then you should have it checked out. Could also be a muscle pain if it hurts at the touch. Hope this helps get better soon :)P.S. Edit: You also mentioned right side, sorry you should know that it could be your gallbladder. Because I believe if I’m not mistaken I had pain at the touch when it was my gallbladder. It could be a number of things but give or take if it’s not gas then it could be gallbladder issues (hope not). 🙂
