Q: i was one of the many foolish teenagers that thought it would never happen to me but yesterday, unfortunately, the condom broke. my boyfriend and i did not realize this until after he ejaculated.. call us crazy but this was the second time having sex back to back so i am hoping the semen wasn’t like completely swarming with sperm :(in desperation, i tried to clean it out (?) with a douche bag right after.. i doubt it did much.my last period was on august 3rd. my periods are pretty irregular but for the most part the gap between each period is a little over a month.does anyone know what the chances are that i would get pregnant? when i called a clinic about taking the plan B, the lady said it might just be taking a risk that would eventually prove to be unnecessary. she said the statistics showed that in my circumstance (2 weeks following menstrual cycle + 1 ejaculation) 8 out of 100 women would get pregnant?the clinic was closed today so i couldn’t go. A: If it happened yesterday then it didn’t conceive (this is really, really really unlikely). You aren’t pregnant…yet.Get the morning after pill (which is not an abortion pill, don’t let anyone tell you that). You have three days to take it, so go as soon as possible to the clinic. Women can get pregnant at all times of the cycle, so don’t count on that keeping you safe. Just get the morning after pill and while you are there ask if you can go on birth control. They will give you a good deal on it and no one will find out (they won’t tell your parents)
