Q: Out of curiosity, have anyone notice how all pregnant women get that really dark line across their bellies. I notice mine goes from abdomen to almost underneath bra line (its faded towards that part). Why do we get that line? is it a tattale mark of pregnancy,lol? A: Not all women do, it’s the linea negra from the higer levels of estrogen and progesterone. Yeah it’s sort of a tattle-tale mark, except my two sons have the line to their belly button and they have never been pregnant (they’re 2 and almost 4). I never got a linea negra either, and I think my son’s are left over from when they were gestating in me.

my gut feeling is pregnancy, but why is the test negative??

Q: by my last period i would be 12 weeks and 1 day today…ive takens tons of test and they all keep coming out negative(including this morning)..but i havnt got my period at all and no im not under any stress..but i have had a lot of spotting off and on..before i missed my first period i got very sick, i thought i had a cold..by week 5 i was so sick to my stomach and i still feel nauseaus and sick to my still off and on..my boobs do feel sore to the touch and they are full of veins, which they have never been..I even have a dark vein going through each of my areolas which both have darkened..around week 7 i started to get so exhausted i couldnt stay awake..im constantly peeing and that started way before i became constantly thursty/dry mouth and my saliva is running in my mouth so bad i feel that im gonna start drooling..i do have back pain off and on and feel a heaviness in my belly and sometimes the bone around my vagina hurts(pelvic bone i guess)my lower abdomen has gone from very soft to very firm..also i get all these weird feelings in my belly anywhere from a cramp like feeling to a zap like feeling to a sharp little pain feeling..sometimes feel like pulling and my nerves getting pinched..bottem line is that ive never felt this way in my life and really believe that im pregnant..kinda like my woman intuition telling me..ps- i do plan on going to the dr this week but just havnt been able to go cause of work, i started a new job and its just been to soon to ask for time off..

However if tests keep coming back negative, you might not be producing enough of the pregnancy hormone to register on the tests. See your doctor and ask for a quantitative beta hCG blood test, which will tell you mow much hormone is in your blood.You can also try another home test with your first pee in the morning, the urine is more concentrated then and might give you a better result.
