How do you turn your depression into anger?
Q: If you even can possibly do something like that?I really hate it how like every time Im mad it ends up me being depressed, it f*cking sucks. And I would definitely prefer being f*cking pissed then being depressed, ya know?So do you have any ways of channeling that depression into anger?
A: Think of whats making you depressed. Hate that thing. Spit at it. Despise it. Wish it to burn in Hell. Possibly punch something. Think of things that make you angry. Keep on doing that something. Usually when I get angry I feel a sort of tension in my muscles. If I try to stop the tension it doesn’t go away. If I break something or just scream, I start to feel better after a while. Everytime you get depressed, just try doing that. I don’t know if it’ll help you, or if I’m just wierd.

Q: My fiance has anger issues, they are not at all directed towards me. He just gets so angry sometimes over the smallest things and i think it has to do with his parents and what they have done to him in the past and he don’t want to get help for it. A: You can do nothing. We can not change others more so those that do not want to change and or get help to change for the better. By staying with him you are reinforcing that his anger issues are fine and that you will stay with him no matter his ill temper. This is called enabling and is good for no one.Be careful and watchful Momma! That anger can turn into violence. That is where the abusive person starts with a nasty little temper. Not saying he will, but at the first signs you need to get gone. That anger changes so smoothly into violence (abuse) you wont know what hit you.Anger management or you hit the door is my best advice.Best wishes
Do some people beleive that channeling repressed anger is the best way to help someone with this?

A: It’s just anger that the person buries instead of releasing, there is no safe place really, they’re just like a ticking bomb, sooner or later, they’ll go off, and the more repressed anger, the more extreme the explosion will be.To some extent, I am naturally like this.If something pisses me off, I’ll keep quiet and calm, but all the time, I’ll be getting more and more angry inside, until I lose it, and I have to hit something. It’s only after I have hit something that the anger goes away, and that isn’t always enough, sometimes the anger will stay and fester for a few hours after.If you think of it like this, It might be easier:A person who has repressed anger for a few weeks due to a stressful job, family life etc, who then explodes – They’d be like a grenade.A person who has repressed anger for years, usually from childhood, when THEY finally explode – They’re like an Atom bomb. This is partly how you end up with serial killers.Edit: Usually when people do this, it’s because the situation gives them no other option. Either the person who is annoying them is stronger than them, and standing up to them would result in a beating, or, the person being abusive has somebody who will protect them at all costs.
