Autodidact Way of Life

People of all ages and cultures through the history of the world have educated themselves in a certain way that they have become the greatest contributors to our achievements as human beings. There have been countless people who have taught themselves how to learn, and learn in a more effect way. This process is called Autodidactism and it is an art that has been lost in the current flow of time since there are so many schools and colleges operating all over the world. The greatest minds of today and the past have educated themselves without having to rely on a teacher, and autodidact is a teacher and a student within himself/herself, and learns how they learn and what drives them to live life with a reason and a purpose. In today’s colleges there is a system of education called General Education and is meant to discover one’s own passions and desires to choose a major and graduate with a degree. But, I think the whole process of finding one’s own passions and desires in the classroom is a bit unnecessary when the Internet is opening up a whole range of information that can be easily accessed at any time. But with those without Internet they can go to their local library and learn from there. If there is no library then they should find a book if possible and learn from there.
The kind of living that an autodidact lives is liberating in the intellectual level because it frees up the burden of learning from a teacher and one can learn about one’s self and to really know themselves. There is no fear of fear of failure because one would learn learn to do better. The autodidact way makes you think in a new level that goes deep into their passions and desires so that they can succeed without the need of going to college and getting a degree. Job creation in the United States is created by people themselves opening new innovations and new businesses that create new inventions and ideas. It’s the people themselves that create jobs. Jobs for themselves and for others. The government is there to protect and serve it’s citizens. Not to hinder their freedoms and liberties by putting more and more regulations and rules that are sometimes unnecessary like the requirement by a lot of businesses and jobs to have a college degree. The requirement to have a college degree is limiting the job growth in the country, and the people who hire no longer value self-education, or self taught knowledge. I hope that people will notice the self-taught and their energetic passion to thrive and succeed.
