The Holidays Are Around the Corner, Will Gas Prices Go Up?

You can almost bet on it. Thanksgiving is the most traveled Holiday in the United States and 2/3rds. of the travelers use their vehicles. Several things I see on the horizon that will affect the pricing at the pump. The Holidays of course but something that is not being talked about in the media is the fact that money is very expensive

From the standpoint of inflation which is being caused by the Feds and this present administration. The more money that the Feds print to help out certain segments of the economy the more everyday items will cost. Hence, fuel costs will climb slowly to around $ 4.00 per gallon and then increase to $ 5.00 to $ 6.00 by summer. We are in a no win situation with the Feds devaluing the dollar and the general instability in the Middle East.

I do not see gas prices coming down before the next election because this administration will not give the OK to drill within the US boundaries to take the pressure off everyday Americans. Part of the problem is that the EPA and environmental groups need to be reined in and this administration will not do it.

So, what is the answer? Quit driving, car pooling, massive transit, battery operated vehicles, what? If it doesn’t destroy the economy further then the technology is not there or it just doesn’t make sense.

I will tell you what I do to conserve money and gasoline. I purchase a fuel additive from a site called www.smithrosscompany.com and the darned stuff works. I have a 2004 Expedition and actually increase my mileage by 21%. Not bad it adds about 80 to 90 miles per tank of gas. Since it is concentrated I use about a quart a month. This additive is the only one that I found on the market that is EPA Certified and is truly a green product.
