Bath tablets as well as bath fizzes also contain a mix of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. Citric acid is also used in some of the skin masks as well as skin lotions that are available in the market.

Citric acid has amazing antioxidant properties. Hence, the other uses of citric acid are that it acts as a rejuvenating agent when it is used on the skin. It refreshes, tones, and cleanses the skin. It also helps in preventing skin from sagging and stalls the aging process. However, you must exercise caution while using citric acid. Don’t expose your skin to too much of citric acid as it can cause irritation in sensitive skin.
