Did the Depo shot make you crazy?
My daughter has a mild case of anxiety, and the doctor told her it would be no big deal, she took the depo prevara shot only once and her anxiety became a real nervous disorder where it took the ER two hours to get her heart under control and she had to take sedatives at night until the shot wore off (3 months). She’s still struggling. (It’s been 6 months since her shot) Anyone else have this kind of side effect?

That sounds like her hormones went crazy, she should get her hormones balance. They had me on it once, enough for two shots. Put it this way, it makes PMS like a mild sedation.. Even my kids Husband and Dogs ran.YES! The depo shot made me into a she devil. I had uncontrollable anger, violent mood swings, no sex drive and I had a hard time calming myself down. I had never had that before I went on the depo shot.I got the shot at a local clinic. they told me there would be no side affects. Boy were they wrong. I put up with that for almost two years until I finally fiqured out that it might be the shot.I switched from the local clinic to an ob/gyn. On my first visit all he had me do was tell him my symptoms, and without telling him I was on the shot, He told me! He said while he had to offer it as a method of birth control, He was strongly opposed to it because of all the side affects.It took me 10 months of being off the shot before I noticed a diffrence. My doc said that the shot can stay in your system for up to a year.Just my opinion, but I would go off the shot and find something else.Good luck and hang in there! I have never heard of that.
