You need to use a hypo-allergenic shaving gel..which there happens to be many kinds….I have sensitive skin and recommend it..also my favorite product once again is “witch hazel”.put some on after you shave..I guarantee your legs will feel much better and smoothe too!
dont shave for a few days legs are probably irritated
you are using wrong shaving cream
I had the same problem..I cant use shaving cream cause that makes it worse..I use shampoo…and I dont get the red bumps.be careful though its easier to cut yourself if you use shampoo…cause it makes the razor slide easier..

try using a lot of soap when you shave. if not than get a womans shaving cream for your legs and make sure that there is some hair to shave when you do it and that whereever you are shaving is wet like covered in water.
use soap or shaving cream
How cool is it in the bathroom? If the temperature is too low (AC cranked way down, or the heater not warm enough), you can get goosebumps while in the shower. Also, If you shave first instead of last, the skin may not be damp enough. I have had trouble for years w/ razor burn b/c I get goosebumps every time the water isn’t aimed directly on my skin. I shave every 2-3 days instead of every day to allow my natural body oils to resaturate my skin, and that helps. I also use the cheap, twin blades, and change my razor every time I shave to make sure they’re always sharp. In the winter, I actually use hair conditioner as a shaving cream, and that is wonderful! Shaving gels contain things like butane (!) to lubricate, but they end up drying your skin even worse unless you follow up with a really thick body lotion.
