I got the MIRENA IUD on Monday. The doctor told me to wait for sex and I have not had intercourse. I was cramping up until Wednesday really bad. Last night, my boyfriend and I were fooling around and I did have an orgasm. I had a severe cramp right after. It only lasted a couple seconds, but should I be worried?

Continue with its use and forget all your worries and about the IUD in your womb. i had an iud for 5 years i found my cramps were worse when i had my period. occasionally i would cramp slightly after an orgasm. after a couple months things were back to normal and i was fine. just a little warning though it hurts more coming out then going in so when you get it removed be prepared
