seems like I’ve tried every diet in the world to no avail, no job so I can’t afford diet Dr. oh and the final insult, I’ve a bad back so must be careful with excercise, my husband does’t seem to notice the weight gain but who knows and I am now very self conciense, help!

You just have to find a diet and stick with it. If you can’t exercise it will be very slow going. Can you walk. Just walk as much as you can, several times a day. Even for only 10 minutes at a time, 6 times a day, you will burn some calories and this is good for you as a diabetic. Can you use bags of dried beans or canned goods and do a small workout on your arms, using them beans and cans as weights? Small things will make a difference, it will be slow but worth it.Eat fruits and veggies. I don’t work either, so I can’t afford a doctor, so I can empathize.

you are not alone. bad back , diabetic, arthritis, and a couple others. you decide how you live your life. now is the time for YOU, it’s not easy, nothing ever is. first decide that you are worth it. take one day at a time, get thru today, worry about tomorrow when it gets here. in talking to other diabetics there seems to be a common thread of depression, accept it and decide that you are worth it, yes it is all about you. no-one else can be you. check american diabetes assoc. website, take charge now, you are all you have. that is not being selfish it is only taking care of yourself. best of luck, people do care with being diabetic and with a bad back I would suggest going to your doc and he/she can put you on a diet that would be safe for you.
