What can cause low estrogen levels apart from menopause could it be something more serious?
my syptoms are irregular periods, occasional hot flushes, feeling sick shakey, feeling like i’m going to pass out, very emotional, constant infectons down below. Please advise me very worried about hospital appointment

You don’t say how old you are and whether menopause could be the problem? (I’m 43 and already finished my menopause)There are lots of things that can cause low oestrogen levels. When I say lots, I mean lots and lots. From problems dire and simple of your kidneys, arthritis, medicines, depression or even diet.I know that it is difficult not to worry until you have had a doctor tell you that there is nothing or something simple wrong.The one piece of advice that has made my life worry free isDON’T WORRY ABOUT THINGS YOU CAN’T CONTROL!Do what you can to make it better (Drs), but everything else you can’t change. The doctors appt is a good thing. Look forward to it so that you’ll have something to go on and reassurance.Please consider letting me know the outcome of your appointment.
