How soon do you typically feel the symptoms associated with pregnancy?
Q: It’s too soon for me to take a pregnancy test. My period isn’t due until the end of the month. There’s a chance that I am pregnant right now but I’m curious if I would be feeling symptoms, such as morning sickness, this early if I am pregnant.
A: It’s really different for each woman. You normally see the signs of pregnancy before you feel them. For me, it was a missed period, then more-than-usual discharge, extra trips to urinate, tender breasts, and then exhaustion. All in that order. I’m waiting on the morning sickness. It happened to me the last two times, and it hates me. Then will come the hip sciatica problem, heartburn, and more exhaustion and peeing. Finally, swelling of legs and feet and the baby will be here soon. All typical for me. But like I said, every woman is different.
Are these symptoms associated with pregnancy, and is it normal?
Q: i have been having bad headaches, feeling sleepy 24/7,my heart feels like its about to fall off my chest. i just found out im preggo. i might be almost 4 weeks. is this normal????
A: Its very normal! For the first three months I literally dragged my butt everywhere! I was so tired all of the time, and I work shift work so it only made it worse…and as for the headaches, that’s normal too. I have been getting a lot of them since the beginning, you can take regular strength tylenol for it, but stay away from Advil or ibuprofen.
3 nights ago I spiked a fever in the middle of the night. Could this be associated w/ my pregnancy symptoms? ?
Q: I’m having cramping and pressure feelings for the past two days as well. I’m just curious if anyone knows if all these could actually be prego symptoms???
A: i take it then u’re not sure if indeed u ARE pregnant? well, in that case, i wouldn’t count on it. yes, u’re temp goes up and up starting at ovulation and resets itself with menstruation, but not enough to where u really notice it (like night sweats or chills). there’s a chance u are, but i would wait a week or two and test to be sure.if not, the cramping could be due to pms. or, u could have a more serious problem. if u notice further irregularities (such as worsening of cramps, missed period and a neg preg test, or an extremely bad period) then u should contact ur doctor. there’s possibility of ectopic pregnancy, endometreosis, miscarriage if u are pregnant, or an ovarian cyst. because of the fever, i would say that if u aren’t pregnant, there’s a chance there might be something else going on that could be serious.not trying to scare u, it could just be a cold or the flue, too. just wait it out, take the test, if neg and symptoms worsen, go to the doc.Best of health to u.
