Is there any Chewable Vitamins I can take to help my Top Hair Grow?
Q: I’m a 24 yr old guy and the top of my hair doesn’t grow as well as the sides of my hair does. When you look at the top of my hair it looks like its missing some hair at the top. A few years back after I graduated in 2003, I used to style my hair alot sometimes using this hair greese called “Sportin Waves” and I liked the way it made my hair look, plus it was easy to wash out of my hair and everything. I also was more used to brushing my hair than combing it since it wasn’t long enough for me to comb. Also, whenever I went to my local barbershop to get haircuts, I would tell the barber to give me low haircut shapeups because I wanted it to try and blend in with the shortness at the top of my hair. Also, I thought that getting haircuts alot makes your hair grow too. Now I’ve stopped using chemicals in my hair like Hair Greese and Hair oil and stuff since I dont know if its good for my hair or not. All I do now is just simply wash out my brush and comb and lightly brush my hair and then cover up my hair with a Doo Rag at night whenever I go to sleep. I’ve also been watching alot of stuff that I eat and drink too. I dont eat alot of meat and I love to eat veggies. I dont drink ANYTHING but water and juice (apple or grape). And sometimes I take vitamins which probably are the wrong kind for my age. I eat those Flintstone vitamins. I’m assuming that maybe I’m probably not getting enough vitamins in my body and that could be the problem too. So can anyone please give me some good advice on what kinds of Vitamins that a 24 yr old like myself should be taking and the kind thats good for my hair? Now I dont know how use the the Hair tablets for hair types too and isn’t that for females and not guys? Here’s some links to show you what my hair looks like…http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e358/Jouri21/Hair4.jpghttp://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e358/Jouri21/Hair3.jpg
A: Male pattern baldness – not uncommon at all. It’s good to take multivitamins, but there is no specific vitamin that will make your hair grow – or replace lost hair.
