Q: So for about four years this has gone on.I have been seeing doctors they dont really know what it is.If anyone has any ideas please let me know thanks.I just want to stop the suffering.Symptoms:severe lower(below the belly button) abdominal pain more specicially in the ovary region. The pain varies in a sense that it comes and goes, its worse at night and in the morning and then in mid day.If I sneeze/cough/standup to quick/do certain excercises I get a very intense sharp pain that is very quick it makes me fall to my knees and takes my breath away then it fades almost as quickly as it begins. The pains I usually feel are not dull and they are not exactly muscular its very hard to describ its like a inflammed intense feeling. The pain is not always here it comes in episodes it may last for 3 months at most so far starting out moderate to a very severe pain where I cannot move and sleep or eat. Then most the symptoms can disapear for a while.I’d say I have had about 10 episodes of this which all last for more than a month and a half the last episode I had which was this summer was by far the worse I have ever had, they are getting worse. My periods are very heavy and very painful,I have alot of pain before/after/and during my periods. The first day or two I have dark(old blood) sometimes sticky clot balls. Also my periods can be irregular, which occasional spotting between them with associated cramps.Sometimes it hurts during sexual intercourse to have sex the deeper it goes and its not because it to deep its just that it seems in the back of my vagina it gets very sore soemtimes and sex can cause sharp pains during and cramps afterwards. This it not all the time however.I also have low back pain.I thought for a while I was haveing sort of lower rib pain its hard to explain but I think its actually kidney pain Im not sure if this is connected but I tend to always have the kidney pain no matter what.As of recently its been a whole lots worse for about a day and half. Its make it hard to breath I feel like I have a tight chest like soemthings squeezing me.I seem to get alot of UTI’s and UTI stymptoms.I get a burning sensation when I pee and with blood soemtimes its a UTI that requires medicane but soemtimes it just a annoyance that last a day or a few days.It happens every often though, even though I keep very clean and follow the guidlines of prevention of uti’s.I note something else one time my doctor thought I had UTI and we tried to treat it,but it wouldnt leave so she did more testing and she found bacteria vaginosis which was causing the UTI symptoms. The intresting thing was many of these symptoms I am descrbing for these episdones went away with the B.V. medicane(I was going through an episode at that moment).I have a lot of fatigue,I feel energy drained sometimes even though ive done nothing, and just woke up with a restful sleep.I get alot of muscular pain in my lower abdomen, low back, legs.I get charlie horses at night when the episodes are bad.I loose alot of weight quickly during episodes last episode I went from 138 to 132.This time in a short amount of time(a week and half) I went from 138 to 130.I used to have non showing ribs, and a little extra fat over my ribs, side of my hips and sides and now its vanished.I also havent been doing anything for these weight changes, nothing extra. After the episode I go right back to my normal weight 135-138.Sometimes I get odd discharge and its not like a yeast infection because its not super thick or anything and I have had yeast infections many times so i reconize it.This discharge I am talking about does not really bother me its just there and it comes and goes its whitish gray and thin rather than thick,it can smell really odd to me sometimes.I get fevers and chills regurly as well as night sweats, even without associated sickness like a flu or cold.Sometimes I will be cold no matter how many layers of clothes or blanket I wear and it dosent matter if the rooms 30 degrees of 90 im just ganna be cold if its that time.I do get nausea but dont throw up I seem to have a high threshold for that.I get really dizzy and light headed soemtimes, and feel like I will faint. Thanks sorry if this is a TMI sort of thing but i am desperate i need some ideas on what this could be
A: this is going to sound strange and it is possible in young woman but i think you could be going threw menopause these are all the symptoms of menopause and a low iron count, also you may want to see a gynecologist to check if you have something called endometriosis, is is an infection that causes growths in/on/outside of the ovaries and uterus it can also spread to other internal organs if it is on the outside of these areas which causes all or most of these symptoms.for example thinking you have uti, lower back pain tiredness dizzyness, fatigue and more.so although i am no doctor i have seen these problems before in myself in familydiagnosis 1: low iron count and menopausediagnosis 2: low iron count and endometriosisgo to your local gynecologist and ask him/her about these, there are studies online that talk of early menopause in woman from 16 to 35. the common age is more 45 to 60, so this is a possibility. iron tablets will cure the nausea tiredness weight gain and loss and some of your other symptoms take 1 a day for two weeks with orange juice or water. and get checked for endometriosis ASAP before it spreads or worsens so you can get it treated if this is what you have.good luck friend.
