Can steroids be used to treat pneumonia?

steriods are used in some long standing cases such as chronicasthma, some kidney conditions, some blood abnormalities and the like. simple zinnat/zinnacef can already cure pnemonia if taken in the correct dose for one solid week. to add to that, the patient must increase fluid intake.
