NFL Pick Em for Week 10

Last week’s picks: 7-7

Season total: 87-43

For the first time since week 4, there will be no bye this weekend. As a result, there are plenty of good matchups.

As you can see, last week was my worst week thus far with a 7-7 record. Hopefully I can bounce back this weekend.

The week kicks off tomorrow night with the Raiders visiting the Chargers. Let’s kick off the picks now.

Thursday, November 10

Oakland Raiders (4-4) @ San Diego Chargers (4-4) – Because both teams have been so funky lately, I really think that this one just comes down to who is playing at home. My pick: San Diego Chargers

Sunday, November 13

Arizona Cardinals (2-6) @ Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) – The Cardinals are not any good and the Eagles cannot afford to lose this one whatsoever. My pick: Philadelphia Eagles

Tennessee Titans (4-4) @ Carolina Panthers (2-6) – Chris Johnson looked a lot better last week and that should continue against Carolina’s terrible run D. A lot of points should be scored in this one. I like the Panthers by a late score. My pick: Carolina Panthers

Houston Texans (6-3) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) – Andre Johnson may be back this Sunday for the Texans but he will not be 100%. It might be wise for them to sit him another game as they have the bye next week. This one should be good. Bucs simply need it more. My pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Washington Redskins (3-5) @ Miami Dolphins (1-7) – Washington looks terrible and the Dolphins are coming off their first win of the season in blowout fashion. Look for them to make it two in a row. My pick: Miami Dolphins

St. Louis Rams (1-7) @ Cleveland Browns (3-5) – The Browns are a mess. Steven Jackson is on fire lately. Look for him to carry St. Louis to their second win. My pick: St. Louis Rams

Buffalo Bills (5-3) @ Dallas Cowboys (4-4) – Last week, the Bills played Rex Ryan’s defense and were dominated. This week, they face his brother’s. This one could be a turn over fest. Dallas has more weapons. My pick: Dallas Cowboys

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) @ Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) – The Steelers are coming off a tough loss against their rivals. They will be pissed. This is the Bengals first true test as they have had an easy schedule thus far. I do not see them passing it. My pick: Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) @ Indianapolis Colts (0-9) – I stupidly picked the Colts for an upset last week and am going to do it again. The Jags D has been really good but their offense is dreadful and may cost them on Sunday. My pick: Indianapolis Colts

Denver Broncos (3-5) @ Kansas City Chiefs (4-4) – The Chiefs looked like the worst team in the league again on Sunday while the Broncos took care of the Raiders. This is a toss-up between two average teams, like the other AFC West matchup. I am taking the home team. My pick: Kansas City Chiefs

New Orleans Saints (6-3) @ Atlanta Falcons (5-3) – This should be a good one as these two always play close and it is for first place in the division. While the Falcons are great at home, I see this coming down to a shootout and Brees is obviously the better quarterback. My pick: New Orleans Saints

Baltimore Ravens (6-2) @ Seattle Seahawks (2-6) – I could see this being close and would not be shocked if Seattle upset. Baltimore is coming off a huge, emotional win and Seattle is whacky at home. Baltimore’s still better obviously. My pick: Baltimore Ravens

Detroit Lions (6-2) @ Chicago Bears (5-3) – This is another game with big playoff implications. Chicago is coming on strong while the Lions are coming off of a bye. The Lions beat the Bears in week five and I think the Bears return the favor. My pick: Chicago Bears

New York Giants (6-2) @ San Francisco 49ers (7-1) – Give the 49ers credit: they are 7-1. I do not buy them yet, though. A win over the Giants may change that. Alex Smith is the type of QB that the Giants love to play against. My pick: New York Giants

New England Patriots (5-3) @ New York Jets (5-3) – The Patriots are reeling and the Jets are coming off three straight wins. They need to send a message to the Patriots on Sunday night. It is really tough to see the Pats losing three in a row but I think that the Jets take it because their defense has been playing well. My pick: New York Jets

Monday, November 14

Minnesota Vikings (2-6) @ Green Bay Packers (8-0) – The Vikings gave the Packers a bit of a scare in week 7 but that was in Minnesota. I cannot see the Packers losing at home, let alone at all yet. My pick: Green Bay Packers
