Orlando International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the U.S. transporting nearly 35.5 million passengers every year. Orlando has 47 million visitors annually; however, there are many Floridians and others who use Orlando International Airport, also known as MCO (or OIA) as a hub to other destinations.
Although there are many airport shuttles, buses and friends and family who drop off Orlando residents, there are a large number of people who drive themselves to the airport for a day or several months, while flying off. Although this is the closest to the airport, you still need to allow time to park and depending on your airlines you may also need to catch a free shuttle to the Main Terminal.

Just five minutes from the Orlando airport. One of the benefits of the off-airport parking lots is the extra services, including pet sitters for cats and dogs. I drive by this lot every week as I live nearby. It looks clean and well kept. The lot is paved, 24 hour fenced lot security. The difference between parking in an open lot here and at the airport is although it is only $4.99 a night for self-parking, there is a $24.95 fee, plus taxes. These are things to calculate when choosing a lot, the number of days and if you need pet boarding, it may be worth a considering. Most sites have discount coupons and specials, however pay attention to the minimum days, time of the year and other fine print.

Park Bark and Fly provides parking for the airport and long term parking for boats, trucks and RVs. Something you should consider when looking at any off-site parking company is whether they are able to drop you off at the Departures section of the airport or if they are required to drop you at a different level, which would mean that you would need more time and inconvenience trying to get to your airline. This is a new rule that the airport put on Off-Site parking companies, Park Bark and Fly are not affected by the change. The company’s name is a bit deceiving as they don’t have an on-site pet boarding, they just give a discount if you use one of their Pet Partners to board your pet.
