A: Use mouth wash. Like listerine. Dilute it with water ( half a cap of mouthwash and half a cap of water) otherwise u will burn ur taste busds ( i did. It didnt hurt it just made my tongue feel fury lol. ) Cause u should be rinsing ur mouth out every time u eat , drink or smoke. I did that with mine for about 2-3 weeks and i have not had 1 problem with it. i got mine done 7 years ago.

A: i got mine done about 2 weeks ago. she shouldn’t touch it. dont play with it. you gotta let it heal. eat non solid food. lol i tried eating mashed potato’s and it stuck to the ring… that hurt like a mofo. after she eats or drinks anything other than water she needs to rinse her mouth out with alcohol free mouthwash (diluted) and every morning and every night she needs to do a salt water rinse.1/4 tsp non iodized sea salt+8 oz of warm water.good luck! =DEDIT: pop ibupfrofin like its mnm’s lol it gave me a headache but it helped with the swelling. also keep ice and ice water on hand. soup and ice will be her best friend for the next 2-5 days.

Wash hands before contact with piercing.2. Tighten the balls morning and night. They will loosen with the play of your tongue.3. The first few days suck on ice or popsicles to reduce swelling.4. Reduce intake of warm beverages, hot and spicy food, tobacco, alcohol, or anything that might be irritating to your mouth for at least a week.5. Rinse with mouthwash for one minute after consumption of anything but water. You can use warm salt water or diluted mouthwash.6. Use Gly-Oxide or Peroxyl two times daily as instructed on the bottle.7. No oral contact for 6 weeks after piercing. You can down size the length of the post after the swelling has decreased.
