How much bleeding occurs when you have a miscarriage less than a month into the pregnancy?
Q: I just recently started umm.. having sex. I’m on birth control, but I’m on a continuous cycle which keeps me from getting a period because I have really bad PMDD.Anyway, I didn’t think I was pregnant but a few days ago I started getting BAD cramps. I’m not used to that so I knew something was wrong. Then yesterday I started bleeding, but today no blood. I’m scared that I might have had a miscarriage because I never have a period. And if it was in fact my period, the bleeding should have been much heavier because I haven’t had a period in about 5 or 6 months. Can anyone please help me?(BTW, the it’s been less than a month since I started having sex so I couldn’t have been more than a few weeks along?)Alright, I have to clarify, I didn’t just start having sex. I hadn’t had sex in a few years and I just started having sex again. So yea. lol
A: well, with miscarriges you can bleed for a few weeks straight, and there definetly would have been some blood clots. i don’t think you did have one because you only bled one day. BUT, you should get it checked out just to be on the safe side.
Anyone had a late miscarriage? I can’t bare seeing women that look 5/6 months. HOW to get over it?
Q: I work on a bloody Labour ward for god sakes we get women in from 20+ weeks of pregnancy. Most of you know (and I AM sorry for always asking Q’s you probably can’t answer) I was meant to be due June 25th but my idiot of a body went into labour, due to an infection, and I lost my baby girl 3 weeks ago at 19 weeks. I am still off sick but will have to go back soon. Just seeing someone who looks about the stage I should be makes me so sad I am almost sick from the feeling. It’s so strange. How can I get over this? Any thoughts you can give me when I see them to take my mind off? SOMEHOW?I am fine since losing her, obviously I miss her but it’s the reminders and seeing what I SHOULD have that get’s me down. Help me think of ways to forget this. I know it’s silly but it’s so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I added this is TTC because I don’t want to offend any pregnant ladies. I am happy for them so much. It just really really REALLY hurts.I’m sorry… what’s good about losing a baby you fucking bitch!

Looking for advice from someone who has had a miscarriage and then a healthy pregnancy?
Q: I had a miscarriage back in March, and went through a bunch of related complications but was given the “all-clear” to try again at the beginning of August. Since that was when my husband and I had originally wanted to start trying (the first pregnancy was a bit of a surprise), we were delighted. I was sure that because of all the complications I’d had that it would take us a couple months at least… It didn’t. Because of our opposite work schedules (I leave for work just before he gets home, and he’s long in bed asleep by the time I crawl into bed), we’ve barely had time to say hello, let alone arrange an intimate moment, but I’m pregnant again. Now, I’m finding myself panicking about every little twinge, pinch, ache or pain. I’m 6 1/2 weeks, and I know that some of these are normal sensations but I’m so worried about having another miscarriage. My husband says all I need to do is think positively and everything will be alright, which is easy for him to say. I try, but it’s not easy.To those women who have been through the same thing, or something similar, and have gone on to have a healthy pregnancy, is there any advice you can give me to help me stop worrying? I miscarried last time at 12 weeks, so until I get past then, I’m afraid that I might worry myself into having another miscarriage.
A: I had a blighted ovum…the doctors said it stopped developing at 6 weeks. It wasn’t until my 8th week that I found out. That was my very first OB appt. and they couldn’t find the baby, just a sac and the placenta. In may I had to have a D&C since my body wasn’t ready to let go. I’m now 9 weeks pregnant with my healthy baby about the size of a grape with a healthy heart beat! Your husband is right dont but any more stress on yourself than you’re already dealing with. It’s not going to solve anything. Think positively and know that everything will be ok! Good luck!
