Can it be within the first 2-3 week of conceiption?Should I see a doctor?
A: I had my period in may (2005) then 4 days later starting bleeding again but it wasn’t heavy. The blood was red-brown.But when i think about it when i was on my period i was miscarrying. I was 4-5 weeks pregnant and did not even know it. If i hadn’t of gone to the er i would have never known i was pregnant.you could take a pregnancy test cause even if you had a miscarriage it will still show up you are pregnant cause the pregnancy hormone stays in your system for up to 8 weeks after a miscarriage or a birth. A blood test will show you are pregnant 6 days after conception and it will still be in your blood if you did miscarry.go to http://www.peeonastick.com (all about pregnancy tests)Miscarriage SymptomsA miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy before 20 weeks and it is nature’s way of ending a pregnancy that is not developing normally. The length of the pregnancy will effect the number and severity of miscarriage symptoms.A miscarriage that takes place shortly after conception can occur as a slightly late, slightly heavy period. Symptoms can vary from person to person, but there are common ones that generally occur:Bleeding. This can range from brownish spotting to heavy bleeding. It is important to note that many women experience spotting or bleeding during pregnancy and about 50% of the time, the pregnancy progresses normally. Pain or cramping in the lower abdominal area. The pain could be on just one side, both sides, or in the middle. You may also experience pain in the genitals, lower back, thighs, or buttocks. You may notice that pregnancy symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness have subsided or lessoned. Be aware that some women do not notice any change in these symptoms, while others do. Some women say that didn’t “feel right” just prior to their symptoms. If you are pregnant and experiencing symptoms you should contact your health care provider. If any of the following symptoms occur you should go the Emergency Room immediately:Heavy bleeding Passing clots or something that looks like tissue (bring the tissue to the hospital in a clean container) A fever higher than 100.4 degrees F Dizziness or fainting A history of tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy Severe vomiting Severe pain the abdomen or back If you have any uncertainty about the need to contact your health care provider, call him or her immediately.
Can a miscarriage change the length of you cycles and when you ovulate?
Q: Im gonna break this down::|*Miscarriage(early miscarriage, was 5 weeks) on 3/16/09**Bled for 7 days**Got my period 5/6/09,but spotted 8 days before the actual flow**period lasted 7 days, use to last 4-5 before my miscarriage**I was a 32 day cycle b4 my miscarriage*::Now i am wondering if my cycles have changes or something,i think i ovulated just a few days after my period ended(if that is even Possible)::Had sex on 5/13,had alot ot clear stretchy cervical mucus::So would a miscarriage change when i ovulate and make my cycles different and could i have really ovulated that soon after my period, cause of my miscarriage???(Also,i did NOT have to have D&C)
A: yes i think miscarriages really mess your cycle up. i miscrred just after you did and i was 5 weeks pregnant. everyone told me they were all over the place for months afterwards. i dont know if im back to normal yet, 29 days last month (in the 7 months of trying previously i never went more than 26/27 days.i think the best thing to do is either do ovulation kits until you are back on track or have sex every other day, thats what im trying!!
I’ve just had a miscarriage, when can i start trying again?
Q: I had an early miscarriage, well, still am, bleeding started yesterday morning and is still going.I am extremely upset but have decided that i’m not going to stop trying, i want to try again.I’m 23 and this is my first miscarriage. I don’t know what i did to make me m/c, i don’t drink alcohol, i have never done drugs in my life, i’m a full time student and work in a jewellers also part time so i have no idea why i lost the baby. When will my boyfriend and i be able to start TTC again? Do i have to wait until i have another period or shall i wait and see if i ovulate in a couple of weeks time?Thank you
A: Many couples struggle with the question of when to try again after a miscarriage or other pregnancy loss. Some people want to go ahead and get pregnant again right away (or immediately after waiting the length of time recommended by a doctor). Others view the idea of trying to conceive again with considerable trepidation, fearing the heartbreak of another loss.Doctors say to wait 1 to 3 cycles before trying to get pregnant again after having had a miscarriage recently.I say the same to wait 1-3 cycles. Good luck!
