A: If you go on low calories by curbing your appetite within a week your body will go into starvation mode and become more adept at storing body fat.If you lose more than 2 lbs in a week your not losing just fat but muscle,water, & electrolytes.If you lose muscle you slow your metabolism.Dieting alone does not work well.
