why do they put toxic stuff like MSG and Aluminium in food?
Q: it’s kinda weird that food companies would want to make people sick???I found out that scientists use MSG to make rats obese so they can do diabetes studies on them. So it sounds to me like MSG must be the main cause of the whole “fat people” thing. And it’s known that aluminium causes alseimers disease, thats why they stopped making pots and pans with it. but now they put it in salt and baking powder???

Was it MSG in my Chinese food last night?
Q: I have a terribly sensitive stomach (IBS, lactose, etc) and think that a chinese place down the road may have used MSG (Monosodium Glutamate?) in our food the other night. We had House Lo Mein & Egg drop soupOther than myself and my little girl having the runs, is there any way to tell (preferably BEFORE we eat) that they used the stuff? Can we ask when we order that it not be used? Or is that a sure way to ensure that “something else” may end up in our food instead?
A: Those two items you mentioned, Lo Mein and Egg drop soup should have relatively low msg levels. However, most chinese restaurants will skip the use of MSG upon request… Also, most Chinese restaurants stopped adding MSG because of people’s sensitivities- usually their menus tout that point boldly. Also, MSG is used in a lot of processed foods and sometimes only identified as “flavoring” or “flavor enhancers”. It sounds like you may have gotten a bad batch of food.
Why do some Chinese restaurants feel like they have to load up their food with MSG?
Q: I mean, knowing that many people are allergic to the stuff, and it makes them ill? Isn’t there a better way?I know it must be MSG, because it tastes unusually good, and gives me a splitting headache after consuming it.
A: why do italian restraunts load up their food up with olive oil or tomato sauce??? cause thats how they make their food!!! if you know your alergic to msg (which is bad for everyone by the way) ask them not to add msg to whatever youre ordering and make it a point that your alergic to it just dont be rude
