A: I am a former chef and from Canada and I have had it a number of times, and they are not pets they use, most are older animal and they only use a certain few parts, I had it in France and Singapore, it is not unlike beef and is very lean, they do kill them and ship alot out of Canada, mainly to Japan, all things aside no matter where they eat it like other domesticated animal including Yaks, Camels, Water Buffalo’s and smaller ones we see them as our culture does, not as a food source as the country’s they consume them in do, it is not easy to walk by a food market in Asia and see live animal penned up and you know what there end is.

I would remove them from the pasture if I were you.People set them out to keep spiders away. If they keep spiders away, there is probably something vile about them, maybe poison.
