There it is said that the desire to lie with other women is a drive from the mother’s blood.”My question is – when she talks about “a drive from the mother’s blood” does she mean people in Carriacou consider lesbianism to be a disease inherited from the mother? That phrase is really confusing, and I don’t understand what it means. Please answer this, someone, even if its just your best guess. It’ll save my life. If your answer is any good, I’ll give you best answer.

Would this scenario piss you off?
Q: My partner and I have been together for 20 years. We are in our early 40’s. However, I have never met her family because her mother refuses to accept her lesbianism. She is in her eighties now and has severe Parkinsons disease. So, I have given up on meeting the family. However, last night she went to a family dinner engagement and her brother and sister-in-law brought a friend along. Turns out she’s a lesbian and came on to my partner. My partner was shocked and kindly told her to back off. Yet, I am furious and can’t seem to get over it. I’m not mad at my partner but the circumstances that brought this on. I will be excluded from all family events but this lesbian will have an open invitation to pursue my partner. I trust her but I’m still pissed that I feel like I have no control over the situation. The kicker is that they together all the time. I feel an ulcer coming on.
A: that would definately piss me off.. 20 years is a long time not to be included in a signifigant others family just for your sexual preference AND it is not fair that the other girl got to be there but you could not. maybe everyone else dosnt know that she is a lesbian?
