What are the similarities between Adderall and depression medicine?
Q: Basically, I have ADHD and Depression. I’ve been on different depressions medicines from the past year or so, and at this point there’s no real reason that’s causing my depression. I was most currently on Effexor but am now switching over to Zoloft. I really only feel “happy” when I’m on Adderall which is meant to help my concentrate and sit still. I realized I feel better on it because it has some chemical called dopamine which is a type of happy chemical, but I was wondering why the depression medicine doesn’t make me happy like I am on Adderall because I know that the depression medicine has dopamine in it too! Instead I always kind of feel blank, not too happy or sad, which sucks because life just seems pointless because I never am really motivated to do anything.QUESTIONS:1) What is the difference between Zoloft and Effexor, which one will push towards the happier state I’m at while on my Adderall?2) Starting Zoloft right after Effexor will I feel any difference, for example; happier/more depressed/more energized3) What are the benefits of Zoloft and what’s it’s purpose that makes it stand out amongst other depression medicines?4) Could this feeling of not being really happy or sad, yet irritated and having no motivation or inspiration still be a symptom of depression or does everyone feel this way?5) How can I build up on the dopamine in my brain, basically feeling happier, besides taking Zoloft, any natural methods to help build it up?6) How can you defeat depression?7) Is there a way to kind of trick my brain into making me feel happier, for example thinking positive, and how does this work?To get the 10 points you have to either give me the best insight on my situation and explanation of everything, or by answering as much questions as you can accurately. Additionally, if you have any similar feelings or situation as me and share that too that will be a bonus. A: hi there,ok lets see:1. certain people just feel better on certain medications, even though they have the same stuff in them, you probably just feel better on the adderall cause it works best with your brain chemisty.2. some antidepressants just make you feel numb, you dont feel depressed but you dont feel happy either you just feel nothing, this isn’t the right medication for you if you are just feeling blank or the dosage is too high for you.3. im pretty sure zoloft and effexor are pretty much the same and should lift your mood and give you some type of motivation. i am on paxil which is more relaxing, but that’s because i need something relaxing, you on the other hand need something to jack you up a bit.4. starting zoloft right after effexor, you should feel a more happier feeling i would say in a week or two. stay away from caffeine because it decreases the antipressants ability anywhere from 30-50% which means it will only work half as much as it is supposed to.5. depression has many symptoms, not feeling motivated is one of them, also being irritable is too because you dont want to be bothered, alot of people feel this way, it’s just that people like you and i feel it more, it depends on how much you feel it and how you deal with it, usually people go and exercise to get themselves going, but when you dont feel motivated you obviously can’t do this.6. the way you can make yourself feel happier is literally forcing yourself to be happy, trick your brain into thinking you are happy when you are happy your brain makes happy chemicals, i know it’s hard you dont have to tell me, but put on funny shows, movies, force yourself to smile, force yourself to laugh. also the sun has alot to do with it, get out and get at least 1/2 hour of sun a day and some fresh air.7. there are natural things you can take, if you aren’t allergic to fish, go to cvs and buy mega-red krill fish oil/omega 3 oil but make sure it’s krill, if you google about omega 3 oils you will see that it helps alot with depression!!!8. B-vitamins, especially B6 and B12 help alot with depression, so when you go to cvs or whichever store/vitamn store get vitamins called B complex, it has all of the B vitamins in it.9. how to defeat depression is hard, depression feeds on itself meaning, the more depressed you are, the depressed you become it turns into a vicious circle. so when you are feeling depressed you literally have to force yourself with all of your might to get up and do something, it is so hard but it works, do small tasks, c
What depression medicine can make me feel more like I do on Adderall, but instead lasts for a longer period?

A: Omega 3 Fish oil. Start low and increase until you get a positive change and then stay at that amount. Fish oil are essential fatty acids that the body needs. All these other drugs effect the pituitary gland which then affects your adrenal glands and then in trying to balance this drug it unbalances your entire hormonal system. Thus all the side effects. I’ve also know of many people who couldn’t get off these drugs as they can cause side effects that are worse then being on them. The body can experience deficiencies of what it needs and thus cause problems. You just need to give it the nutrients it needs to function correctly. The body never had a deficiency of prozac or lexapro. They are drugs.
Xanax & Tyrosine, A Safe/Effective Mixture?
Q: I have begun use of Xanax for situational purposes only (crowds, speeches, etc.) and it’s been pretty effective thus far, given that I wasn’t really too sure how it’d work with my chemistry. (L) Tyrosine, an amino acid found in protein powders, was extremely, extremely helpful for my focus abilities, attention, and motivation (even more so then Adderall), however I had a hard time jogging whenever I had it in my system, due to increased heart rate, and it caused some slight agitation, and anxiety, but did help a lot with numerous things, even paruresis (shy bladder syndrome). I am wondering, is this combo safe? Xanax, I think, works on certain GABA receptors, while Tyro. works with NRI (Norepinephrine) and Dopamine. Would the Xanax sort of balance it out, and decrease the agitation and increased heartbeat it had caused for me? And plus, I fully and completely understand Xanax’s dosing, that is when, and as needed. I understand how it sometimes isn’t considered the safest medication to be using, but I have tried numerous approaches to riddle anxiety, and surprisingly this is what works for me best. So if anyone could shine some light on the inquiry, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
A: I use these site to help me with my meds.they are so good and I use them all the time.I am not on xanax.I take klonapin, but they can help you:http://www.crazyboards.org/forums/index.php/forum/16-benzodiazepines-take-a-chill-pill/andhttp://www.crazymeds.us/CrazyTalk/index.php?showforum=71-Dix
