Example, sex education is a sensitive subject in many areas of the country, yet in many public schools, the administration and parents take an abstinence only stance on the issue and does not allow for contraception to be taught…which leads to religious beliefs over science. Hence, which religion is supposed to be separate from state.But this is only an example, many areas such as common disease, social issues, suicide, violence/domestic or other, motor vehicle safety, bike safety, in-home safety/issues, drug use/abuse and many, many others are open for thought.Also, think grade level as well, Kindergarten – 12th Grade.

A: There shouldn’t be any topic that is considered too taboo in the class. I think that most students can handle the information in the class maturely as long as we are allowed to share opions and feeling without worry of redicule. As long as the information is relevant to the age being taught, there is no reason to avoid topics as life brings us many variables that effect our health. Therefore, we need to learn and educate ourselves so that we may make the best decision for us to move forward.

Q: to be a good christian, Muslim ,Buddhist etc. must i believe without any investigation, proof or common since every word of the bible, kuran, Torah ect? if i didn’t believe in or trust my bible, Torah ect to the fullest, must my source of investigation come from the same thing i am questioning? or should i look for different links to cosign my belief cause the truth can take investigation from many sources and still be found to be the truth.example = Columbus discovered America. should i look in a social studies book to prove that?(which i can) or rely on my common since and social studies books again that tells me people were already here. they discovered it.maybe i should just give up and say” does it really matter?” i have faith in the social studies book and you used common since or studied from another source and found it to be a lie.
