Q: Why does my baby rub his eyes..!?hes been doing it for awhile even when hes not tired and he sneezes soemtimes and sometimes coughs its wierd and he doesnt have a cold he just does this all the time he has a Doctor appointment next Wednesday so i will definitly tell him about but for now what do you think it could be? he is 6 months old by the way going to be 7 months May 10th but its now concerning because i hope my baby doesnt have allergies but do you think that could be the case and how can doctors tell if the person has allergies what type of stuff do they do to find that out and also when my baby is sleeping he shakes as if hes having little seizures why? please help thanks in advance.
A: It could be allergies. My son was sneezing ad coughing, too. I went to the dr. and he said if it doesn’t get better in 10 days, it is most likely allergies. Another sign is this: if he has snot, look at the color. If it is greenish or colored it is most likely a cold or an infection. If it is clear, it is probably allergies. Do you have a family history of allergies? It is pollen season right now! Good luck with your little guy. It can be scary when they can’t tell you how they feel.

A: That is strange…the shaking. I’m betting on outdoor/seasonal allergies concerning the eyes. Or maybe something as simple as he needs a paba-free laundry detergent. A lot of babies are allergic to laundry detergent. Use Dreft if you can, and as for the shaking, it may be just involuntary moments babies have, but tell your doctor about it. I think 7 months is a little too late in the game for this to be happening.
Do you swing and kick people during grand mal seizures?
Q: I have had this issue for a while now. I am not talking about the kicking portion that comes with the grand mal seizures. I actually attack people (grabbed one nurse by the balls and screamed profanities) and I am really embarrassed that I do this.I have been told this is part of the seizure but why would I scream F U mF’ers and kick people when I would never do this in actual reality?Thoughts?
A: That’s not a grand mal, that’s a Complex Partial. Some people wander, some people undress themselves, and if someone tries to control them during the seizure, they can get quite violent.
