A Review of the Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100

This is a review of the Sony Bravia TV, model KDL-46S4100. The price, technical specifications, and overall quality make it an excellent buy for customers looking for a new TV at an affordable price.

A few years ago, my husband and I bought our brand-new Sony Bravia 46-inch TV. The product price was about $1299.00 at a local Best Buy store. As our first LCD TV purchase, we were really expecting a lot out of it and have not been disappointed. You get exactly what you pay for when you buy a Sony Bravia product.

This is a great TV for owners who do not want to pay the big ticket price of an LED or 3D TV. It has full 1080p HD resolution, 16:9 image aspect ratio, three HDMI slots, and two component inputs. There are two high-quality speakers included, and the television is fairly light, at just under 60 pounds. Hanging it on a wall-mount is easily a one-to-two man job. My husband was able to do it all by himself. You can also stand it on your entertainment center if it fits your needs better. What he loved best about it was that it was able to hook up to his Sony PlayStation, Blu-ray player, and Xbox 360, and DIRECTV Satellite all at once. No more switching cords back and forth like with older TVs! The speaker quality is far beyond what I expected from a TV of this size. It complements very well with the Sony speaker systems if you love your surround sound. After we set ours up, it felt like we were inside a movie theater.

After recently purchasing a Sony LED TV, the only negative thing I can say about the KDL-46S4100 in this Sony Bravia review is that the picture quality cannot rival the lifelike LED screen. However, if that is not important to you, a Sony LCD TV is the way to go for those looking to save $500. The Sony Bravia LCD TVs are a great choice for first-time buyers who want their product to last. Three years later, our Sony Bravia is still working as well as the day we purchased it.

This exact model is no longer in stores, but Sony offers the same quality in their newer Sony Bravia series. Thanks to the recent 3D TV fad, Sony can now offer a LCD TV this size for less than $1000. Take advantage and buy a Sony Bravia TV if you want to get the most out of your product.
