Brennan and Booth Go Hollywood Soon on ‘Bones’

It’s no secret to fans of the hit Fox drama “Bones ” that Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) makes far more money than her beau and baby-daddy, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). Booth is not exactly unintelligent, but his level of intelligence is simply not comparable to Brennan’s genius. Brennan is among the most reputable forensic scientists in the world. The many interns that have worked at the Jeffersonian under her supervision have largely revered her, and most were well aware of who she was before they started working there.

Brennan also has published several books in addition to participating in archaeological digs in remote areas of the world on occasion and working regularly to help Booth and the rest of the Jeffersonian crew solve bones-related crimes. She certainly does have a lot going on, and has had many opportunities to benefit financially from her intelligence. In an upcoming episode, Brennan will add to her list of accomplishments. Hollywood has picked up one of her books to turn into a film, and this takes Brennan and Booth both to the West Coast to assistant in production of the new movie. Hollywood puts its own creative license to work on the book, and Brennan isn’t exactly pleased with the results.

Regardless of how the Hollywood movie actually turns out, the fact is that the book simply adds more money to Brennan’s coffers. However, this may not be such a bad thing at all. She and Booth are preparing to have their first child together, which is an expensive prospect in itself. They also just bought an incredibly dilapidated home that is in need of major repairs and renovations. Such an effort is sure to require a huge infusion of cash, too. Booth may want to go dutch on these expenses, as was the case when the two decided which home to purchase. However, the income from Brennan’s new movie deal may come in rather handy with all of these expenses nonetheless.

You can catch the latest episodes of “Bones” on Fox on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
