Living life proving doubters wrong
Doing this until I am gone.
Who would ever thought I’ll make it this far
A skinny kid from Harlem becoming a superstar,
However, it was not an easy journey for me
I still remember hearing things that weren’t uplifting.
You’ll never make it, too weak, just not good enough
I convinced them all I was beyond tough.
Now they all talk about my success
And how I am so bless.
