Easter is upon us
For another year again
We celebrate the Lord
For giving us salvation.
The bunny and the candy
Are great for all the kids,
But when we head to church
The celebration is his.
The Lord was so gracious
To send his only son
To die on the cross
When he he really owed us none.
But when we celebrate Easter
The meaning is on the third day
When Jesus defeated Death
And alive he lives today.
