stomach flu?
Q: two weeks ago I had some mcdonald’s yogurt parfait and about 30 minutes afterwards I got a sharp pain in my stomach and felt nauseous but did not throw up.Since then I have had terrible stomach aches with dirreha and naseua but havent thrown up at all. My stomach also makes weird bubbly noises sometimes.I have taken alca selzer, tums and pepto bismol but they all didnt really help. i was thinking that maybe I caught my boyfriend’s stomach flu. He had been vomiting and with dirreha a few days before I did but he was only sick for about four days.im worried and I am waiting for my insurance info. to come in the mail so I can go to the doctor’s….I want to know if anyone has had these symtomps and if so what did you take to make your stomach feel better??thanks in advance!!
A: I think maybe it could be the stomache flu, depending on your immune system and everything some people can be sicker for longer then others. Try drinking alot of fluids, and get alot of rest. keep yourself hydrated. If you start to get a fever with this then , go the er. I hope you feel better soon.
Is this just a stomach flu or is this pregnancy?
Q: I am a guy posting on here just because my girlfriend didnt want to. Now before i start, i know everyone is going to say “take a pregnancy test” or “wear a condom” but just read this first and please tell me what you think it is. My girlfriend and I have only had sex one time which was about 7 months ago. Theres no way she could be pregnant from that (we used a condom). I went on vacation for two weeks and when i got back she said she had a vomitting feeling and her stomach hurt a lot. Before i went we did not have sex and i dont think i touched her panties but who knows (i dont even know if sperm can go through panties or shorts). But she got the vomitting feeling and threw up a couple times. It went away for about two days and then today she got the same thing and threw up some more. She cant hold her food down in her stomach. She does not have any other symptoms but who knows. Do you think this is pregnancy or do you think this is just a stomach flu? Answers will be appreciated. She didnt cheat on me. but i guess what im trying to ask is, can sperm go through clothes if it happened to get on the clothing. And i was just wondering just to make sure. I know shes not pregnant from 7 months ago but im talking about getting it on the clothes.
A: it’s the flu…. or… are you asking if we think she cheated on you? If she were pregnant, and just finding out, she would have to have cheated on you…..if you think she is pregnant from you, that’s impossible for her to be six/ seven months without her knowing… how old are you anyways?? Shouldn’t you already know this stuff??
Is this more than a flu?
Q: My symptoms: really bad headache that won’t go away, congestion, sneezing, upset stomach, heart palpitations (I have a thyroid disorder) diarrhea, and I am really hot but apparently don’t have a fever. This was going on yesterday as well, but it’s much worse today. Stomach was okay this morning, but it came back today when I woke up from my nap and is much worse. I’m thinking it might be both the cold-type flu as well as stomach flu. I took some naseau medicine and have a feeling that if it weren’t for that, I would be throwing up as well. Anybody have any advice besides staying hydrated? Or does anybody know what it is? No insurance… Can’t go to the doctor. Thank you.
A: my daughter had the same thing with the same symptoms. it lasted 3 days, but it was misery. staying hydrated is very necessary. drink ginger tea or chamomile tea for your stomach. charcoal capsules will absorb toxins. drink plenty of water to flush toxins. if you are not better after tomorrow, go to a free clinic, if you can find one. or go to the ER. they have to see you, even if you have no insurance. you are not alone. almost everyone i know is sick right now.
