Go to medical school, become a general doctor, train for another 5 years, then do internships, then become a full blown cardiologist. I’d say about 12 years. Cardiologists are doctors, so you are looking at 8 years to become an MD plus probably 4 more to become a specialist.
IN India,8.5 years after passing 12th standard . Four years of college.Four years of medical school.Three years of internal medicine residency.Fellowship in cardiology – length is dependent on where you do the fellowship and what kind of cardiology you want to do (interventional? pediatric?)Total after high school = 12+ years.
