I moved a long sticky tape intended to catch flies from over my boyfriends kitchen counter. What do you think?

Q:Granted, it is not my home and I informed him I understand it is not where I live, but we do share a lot of food together and we drink and eat from the same counter and I think it is just totally disqusting to have this fly trap hanging over the counter above the utensils, toaster and dish of cookies. I was given permission to move it and he said he did not care. Keep in mind, I am a registered nurse and a little germ phobic. This afternoon when I went to his house, his 28 year old son put the sticky trap back over the top of the counter. He moved in with his dad about a month ago with his pregnant girlfriend. His dad says “I didnt tell him to put it there” to which I responded I would never eat anything in the house again if they insist on putting maget, diseased, infested fly traps over the counter. A huge argument followed and I left angry and upset that this 28 yr old mooch is allowed to run this house like that. I think he did it because he wanted me to get mad. Do you?
