Britney Spears Gives Pauly D a Lap Dance and Other Outrageous Concert Moments

Britney Spears is a star who’s been in the headlines since she was a teenager. Once again, the singer is garnering attention. This time it’s for her on-stage lap dance to “Jersey Shore’s” reality star Pauly D. Perez Hilton mused that the reality show personality can now die happy on his blog.

At her concert in Montreal, Canada, on the night of August 11, 2011, Britney dragged Pauly D. on stage to his apparent surprise and utter delight. She sat him down and did an exotic lap dance for him and the audience. It went over very well with the enthralled concert-goers. In fact, The Daily Mail reviewed the concert glowingly, stating, “Britney Spears proved she was back to her sexy best on stage.”

Surprising and shocking moments in rock and pop concerts are nothing new. In fact, as far back as 1969, when Jim Morrison took the stage at Miami’s Dinner Key Auditorium and asked the audience members if they wanted to, um, see his private part, in a rather crude way. As Rolling Stone reported, as a result of this, he was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and three misdemeanors.

Janet Jackson raised eyebrows in February 2011 when she wore a very revealing wardrobe on stage at a concert in Taiwan. According to the Daily Mirror, Janet, who infamously had a wardrobe malfunction during a Super Bowl performance with Justin Timberlake, thrilled the audience with her eye-popping costume.

Taking a walk on the even wilder, more violent side, Guns N’ Roses rocker Axl Rose incited a riot at a concert in Saint Louis, Missouri. He slugged a fan who was in the front row of the audience with a prohibited camera, as retold by the GNR Daily website.
