Knowing the Truth

It’s been four months,

Since that night you said goodbye;

That night you fed me all your lies.

Two days had passed,

After that night,

That was the day I found out about her.

I had had my suspicions,

You gave me clues,

But I believed in you.

You told me you loved me,

That you’d never cheat nor stray,

That should have been my first clue.

The girls that stayed over,

That I never asked about,

But you told me not to worry, anyway.

Now I know the truth,

And I found out you lied again,

You wanted to take everything from me,

And there was a time, that you almost did,

But I’m back and better than ever,

But my question is,

How are you doing now that you know I know?
