Laugh at Cancer Support Community’s Mission Statement

Laugh at Cancer Support Community was founded by Crystal S. Kauffman in 2004 after surviving a battle with cervical cancer stage 2 b. This support community is located online and local support groups are available in Jacksonville, FL. We are currently working on receiving our Official 501 c 3 status, but we have a long way to go still. Our mission is to help all families facing cancer’s touch and restore hope in all families who have faced this disease.

In addition, we will provide encouragement and support to all families facing cancer, as well as yearly projects and fundraisers. We shall strive to provide awareness and information online and offline to our members. Our organization wants to make a difference in the lives of those families who have been devastated by this disease. We believe that laughter and positivity is a vital tool for families when facing the uncertainty of what tomorrow may bring.

May we inspire and encourage you, as you spend time getting to know our members and the founder. Everyone is welcome and members are encouraged to donate their time in helping those in their own community. Furthermore, we believe that no family should ever face cancer’s touch alone! This organization’s programs are created for families touched by cancer in anyway, even pet owners!

We are restoring hope and laughter in each family we meet, whether online or offline! No one should ever face cancer’s touch alone and LACSC will be there for all who may need us in the future. Many volunteer opportunities are available like blogging and online community staff, even administrative positions. The difference in this organization is our member’s kindness is what makes this organization successful.

We are a grassroots organization, who believes that everyone can make a difference by displaying kindness through their actions not their wallet! If you are interested in helping us shape the future of this organization, please contact Crystal S. Kauffman. We hope that every family can learn how laughter can change their life and help push the despair out of the family or patient.

We do take donations to help keep our community alive and growing for all families to seek help 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Any amount will help us to continue our missions and the projects that help inspire families living with cancer’s touch!
