Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant for Sensitive Skin Review

I was given the opportunity to try out Secret’s Clinical Strength for Sensitive Skin this week. As a mother of a 3 year-old and 6 month-old, I wish I had found this deodorant before then. If you’re pregnant, have or had a baby, you all too are aware of the horrible hormonal changes your body goes through during this time. You sweat, and when you thought you couldn’t sweat anymore, your shirt is drenched!

This hypoallergenic deodorant, as explained on Secret’s website, is formulated to provide a layer of protection, which blocks your sweat glands (by the way, this blocking formula does wash away). This layer is then topped with two more layers that moisturize your skin along with a scent blocker. The scent blocker, captures the bad order, then releases a pleasant aroma of light pleasant smells — like water orchard, lavender, and other fresh, clean scents.

The difference between this deodorant versus others, is that you are supposed to apply it at night prior to going to sleep. The reason being, according to Secret’s website, is that you do not perspire as much at night, so the deodorant can successfully block your sweat glands. I was skeptical at first, but after my first night of using the deodorant, I was happy with the results. I wish (and my baby wishes) I had this deodorant when I started nursing, because it not only helps with the constant perspiration, it helps with my body order.

Finally, I was not sure I would like the deodorant because I got a sample of the liquid formula or “Advanced Solid.” Normally I do not buy this kind because of the wet, sticky feel, but it went on dry. The only complaint I had was regarding the container — when I turned the knob on the bottom, it would not push the deodorant out. In order to use the deodorant, I had to hold the container upside down and pat it a couple of times to release.

Overall, if you are a mother who is pregnant, just had a baby, or is nursing, you need to look into buying Secret Clinical Strength deodorant. It will be the breath of fresh air you need for your new and eventful lifestyle.
