The pyramids along the Nile,
When first I saw, they made me smile.
How did they get here, I did say,
Oh my god, what a wonderful day!
Their size and shape made me in awe,
I stood and gaped and dropped my jaw.
I had to climb it to the top,
I kept on going, almost non-stop.
The climb was hard and lots of work,
But this chore I did not shirk.
I climbed and climbed and climbed some more,
But didn’t know what was in store.
I came to the top of this triangle,
The sun was going down at a low angle.
The camels were standing in the sand,
The Nile was looking mighty grand.
I climbed back down and felt so sore,
Back to the hotel, I did implore.

It was a lovely sight to see.
