Veterans can be reassured to find a great meal on Veterans Day at Applebee’s. Military ID or proof of service will be required. Looks like there will not be a shortage of entrees for the veterans to choose from. One veteran told me that when he first arrived in the states after leaving Viet Nam, he was served a nice juicy steak. Among the entrees listed below includes a 7 oz House Sirloin which will be served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables. So all of you veteran steak lovers this is the place to be on Veterans Day. It is making my mouth water already. You just can’t beat FREE.

Outback Steakhouse is offering a FREE Blooming Onions and a Coca-Cola to Veterans. This offer will be available from November 7-11th, 2011. There was no mention of a FREE steak, but I personally love the steaks from Outback.

Golden Corral 10th Annual Event
This will be Monday, November 14, 2011, 1788 E. Sternberg Road, Muskegon, Michigan
Golden Corral will be serving a FREE meal to honor veterans. This is not something that Golden Corral just started doing for the veterans. Golden Corral has been giving FREE meals to veterans for 10 years. That is an impressive track record for Golden Corral. The veterans really do deserve this.

FREE Canes for Veterans by Hugo, at Sam’s Club, 4373 Corunna Road, Flint, Michigan
Yes everyone is getting into the act to help our veterans. Hugo will be giving out 36,000 Hugo canes at Sam’s Club on November 9-11, 2011 to military veterans. Veterans that need assistance need not be a member of Sam’s Club, but proof of military ID is required.
Sears Store, 3191 South Linden Road, Flint, Michigan
Even Sears is getting into the act. They will be offering an extra 10% discount for regular, sale, and clearance price items for veterans on November 11-12, 2011. Identification will be needed.
