- No you can not swallow your tongue. It might at times block the air way, but it is not possible to swallow the tongue.

- A: Have you had your tonsils out before? That could be what is causing that feeling of something being stuck. If not, I would have it checked out by a doc, because it could be an infection of some sort that would need antibiotics to get rid of it.
